For energy saving machine, we have two series:
variable pump injection machine and servo motor pump injection machine.
As machine computer controls pressure and quantity of flow, thus it reflects to PQ(pressure and quantity of flow) valve. Then through the motor rotate to drive the pump works.
For dosing pump injection machine(standard injection machine),
PQ valve is on the valve plate, which is far away from oil pump. So it costs more energy from PQ valve to oil pump.
For variable pump injection machine,
PQ valve is on the oil pump, as computer controls pressure and quantity of flow, it directly drives the pump. This is the different.
For servo motor pump injection machine,
PQ valve is on the valve plate, but for servo motor machine, PQ valve only acts as a guiding role. Here servo controller is the key.
It means as computer controls pressure and quantity of flow, it reflects to PQ valve. Thus PQ valve quickly responses to servo controller.
As servo controller has special system, it can make pump doesn't work when plastic mould cooling and pressure holding. Thus realizing energy saving.
To make it more easier for your customers understanding, let's make a formula.
Then let’s talk how much energy can be saved for this two types injection machines, of course it is compared to the dosing pump injection machines.
Let’s use DKM 500T for example.
We can find that the heating power is same, while the pump motor power is different.
Dosing pump compare to variable pump
55KW:45KW=100: 81.8, it means almost 20% energy saving result.
Dosing pump compare to servo motor pump
55KW:36KW=100:65.4, it means almost 50% energy saving result.
Variable pump compare to servo motor pump
45KW:36KW=100:80, it means almost 25% energy saving.
In China, the electricity power cost is around USD0.2/KWH, if we calculate each day 24 hours and each year 360 days machine running.
Let’s calculate how much the power can be saved.
Dosing pump non-energy saving machine DKM 500T,
the action power cost one year =55KW * 24H * 360DAY * USD 0.2/KWH = USD 95040;
Variable pump energy saving injection machine DKM 500T, the action power cost one year = 45KW * 24H * 360DAY * USD 0.2/KWH = USD 77760;
Servo motor pump energy saving injection machine DKM 500T, the action power cost one year = 36KW * 24H * 360DAY * USD 0.2/KWH = USD 62208
So we can find if we use DKM 500T variable pump machine, annually we can save USD 95040- USD 77760 = USD 17280
And if we use DKM 500T servo motor pump energy saving injection machine,
annually we can save USD 95040- USD 62208 = USD 32832.
