Woven Wire Gabions

Wire mesh for making gabions is hexagonal opening with the aperture of 80x100mm, the wire diameter of 2.7mm and selvedge wire of 3.4mm diameter. Main differences: The opening types of the woven gabions are normally hexagonal with wires twisted, while the welded gabions are normally square opening or diamond opening. Processing involved: Woven gabions are made by twisting of wire, while welded gabions are made by welding of steel wire. Both are popular structure units for retaining, geogrid and reinforcing.
