Glass mould product

Thank you for your time. It has been recommended by Corning Glass Inc. that we make contact with a range of glass manufacturing experts. We are urgently seeking to obtain a quote for the prototyping and manufacture of a small modern glass-based object. 

This component has been designed as a customisable high-end accessory and is a simple and elegant object. Essentially, it contains two key parts that fit together, 1) a thin glass encasement or envelope, and 2) a flat and very thin piece of plastic material called a 'Slip', which can be easily inserted and removed from the encasement. We are concerned with finding a company who can work with our design specifications to develop a prototype for both the 'glass encasement' and 'slip', manufacture and mass produce the final product. 

Most importantly we are concerned with the need for consultation on the most appropriate glass material, a high quality strong glass with a visibly superior finish with thinner form factor and pristine surface quality, one that can be bevelled, moulded or joined into the appropriate shape. (We have considered Gorilla Glass or Sapphire). As the product is thin in design and worn close to the skin, the glass must be strong and able to withstand general 'every-day' wear and tear without breaking or scratching. 

We own a series of concept drawings to submit. These concept drawings can be 'worked with' to improve the dimensions and functionality, and we are very open to recommendations for the most effective way of engineering the product. Upon prototype approval, we intend to place bulk order. Please provide advice on how a high-quality glass solution be engineered with your help, and what your strategies are for prototyping and production.
